    • Name and other details entered by the applicant need to be the same as in the Class X Board Marksheet
    • Applicant can log in to the admission portal through their registered email address, only.
    • Applicant must use his own active email address.
    • The Email address provided by the applicant must be functional and the applicant must have access to it throughout the admission process.

    • Important Instructions for Admission to PhD Program 
    • [1] Admission is open to the Indian nationals who have passed/appearing in the qualifying examination, fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
    • [2] The candidate should fill up the online application form any place through Internet by login on to https://mmmutadm.samarth.edu.in/ or https://mmmutadm.samarth.edu.in/2025/ from 3 November 2025 (11.00 AM) as per the detailed procedure given on the website.
    • [3] Mode of Admission: 

    • A. Full time Research Scholar with University Fellowship: A research scholar in this category works full-time for his/her Ph.D. He/she will be eligible to receive assistantship/scholarship from the University.

      B. AICTE Doctoral Fellowship (ADF) for PhD students: Admitted in the upcoming MET-PhD-2025 Entrance Exam. Detailed information is provided through given Link: https://www.aicte-india.org/schemes/students-development-schemes/ADF-Scheme

      C. Self-financed: Self-financed research scholars will support themselves. University will not provide scholarship to such candidates.

      D. Sponsored: A research scholar in this category is sponsored by a recognized R&D organization, Academic Institution, Government Organization, or Industry for doing Ph.D. in the University on a full-time basis. The University shall not provide any assistantship/ scholarship

      E Admission to PhD Programme 2025-2026 under Visvesvaraya PhD scheme for Electronics and IT: Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to PhD programme on Visvesvaraya PhD scheme for academic session 2025-26 in the Electronics and MMMUT, GORAKHPUR (UP) 2025-26 Communication Engineering Department (One Seat under C2S (CTwoS))  Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur under ‘Visvesvaraya PhD scheme for Electronic and IT: Phase II’ supported by MeitY, Govt. of India.

    • [4] The candidate must himself/herself ensure his/her eligibility to appear in the respective entrance test of a particular program.
    • [5] Commencement and last date for applying through the online portal for MET-PhD-2025: The Date is from 3 November 2025 (11.00 AM) as per the detailed procedure given on the website.
    • [6] The candidates who are not domiciled in U.P. will be eligible to take admission against the general (open) category only.
    • [7] The reservation policy as prescribed by the U.P. State Government shall be applicable for admissions of UP domicile candidates only.
    • [8] Candidates are required to pay a registration fee of Rs. 2500/- for General EWS & OBC candidates and Rs. 1250/- for SC/ST/Female candidates. (Non-Refundable)
    • [9] For detailed information, the Admission Information Brochure for PhD-First Year 2025-26, January Session, Even Semester, shall be referred.
    • [10] The above dates are tentative, and candidates are advised to regularly visit the university website/University Samarth Portal for any updates. No separate letters through speed post / registered post shall be sent to candidates.
    • [11] Candidate must submit a copy of the original final marksheet duly signed on or before the time of the PhD written examination, failing which the candidate shall not be permitted to appear in the PhD written examination.
    • [12] The certificate for OBC/EWS candidates will be valid only when it is issued on or after 01.04.2025 (mandatory due to conditions of creamy layer for OBC and conditions of EWS). The Certificate must be issued by a competent authority of the UP government.
