Important Instructions

    • Name and other details entered by the applicant need to be the same as in the Class X Board Marksheet
    • Applicant can log in to the admission portal through their registered email address, only.
    • Applicant must use his own active email address.
    • The Email address provided by the applicant must be functional and the applicant must have access to it throughout the admission process.
    • Applicants are encouraged to use latest version of Google Chrome web browser for filling the application form.

      Important Instructions for admission in M. Tech Programme 2024-25

    • Admission is open to the Indian Nationals who have passed/appearing in the qualifying examination, fulfilling the eligibility requirements.

    • The candidate must himself/herself ensure his/her eligibility to appear in the respective entrance test of a particular Program.

    • The candidates in respect of whom the result of the qualifying examination has not been declared by the date of filling the online form are required to upload undertaking (Annexure B of admission brochure) regarding submission of all required documents by September 30,2024..

    • The candidates who are not domicile of U.P. will be eligible to take admission against general (open) category only.

    • The reservation policy as prescribed by the U.P. State Government shall be applicable for admissions of UP domicile candidates only.

    • Only vertical reservation is applicable for M.Tech students.

    • Candidates having valid GATE score can apply for direct admission in all M.Tech programs for academic session 2024‐25. All GATE qualified candidates shall receive monthly stipend as per the norms of AICTE.

    •   Admissions in M.Tech. programmes will be completed in following 3 phases in order of preference.

    • In the first phase valid GATE score card holders will be invited and given first priority.

    •  In the second phase, applicants with CUET(PG)- 2024 will be considered. The order of preference in sequence will be i) Engineering degree with CUET (PG) ii) MCA degree with CUET(PG) iii) M.Sc. degree with CUET(PG) wherever applicable.

    • In the third phase, candidates will be admitted against the vacant seat on the merit basis of university admission test (Malaviya Entrance Test-2024) tentatively scheduled to be held on July 13, 2024, in offline mode at MMMUT Gorakhpur. 

    • Admission in M.Tech Chemical Engineering will be done only through GATE and MET-2024.

    • Candidates seeking admission through the University Admission Test (MET-2024) should select the option “NOT APPLICABLE” for “National Level Admission Test” in Programme Selection Tab.

    • Candidates seeking admission in M. Tech- Computer Science & Engineering and M.Tech Information Technology should fill a single form.

    •     The tentative date of the Malaviya Entrance Examination (MET 2024) is July 13, 2024. The examination will be held in offline mode at MMMUT Gorakhpur. MET 2024 will be 100 marks of  2 hours 30 minutes duration. For the syllabus, refer to the Admission Information Brochure for M.Tech Programme 2024-25 (Appendix C).

    • Candidates are required to pay a registration / counselling fee of Rs. 2,500/- (Non-Refundable).

    • The allotment of seats will be done based on given choices filled by the student purely on merit basis.

    • For detailed information, the Admission Information Brochure for M.Tech Programme 2024-25 shall be referred.

      Important Instructions for admission in M. Sc Programme 2024-25

    • Admission is open to the Indian Nationals who have passed/appearing in the qualifying examination, fulfilling the eligibility requirements.

    • The candidate must himself/herself ensure his/her eligibility to appear in the respective entrance test of a particular Program.

    • The candidates in respect of whom the result of the qualifying examination has not been declared by the date of filling the online form are required to upload undertaking (Annexure B of admission brochure) regarding submission of all required documents by September 30,2024.

    • The candidates who are not domicile of U.P. will be eligible to take admission against general (open) category only.

    • The reservation policy as prescribed by the U.P. State Government shall be applicable for admissions of UP domicile candidates only.

    • Both vertical and horizontal reservations are applicable for admission in M.Sc program.

    • Admissions in M.Sc programmes will be completed in following 3 phases in order of preference.

    • In the first phase applicants with CUET(PG)-2024 will be considered.

    • University will conduct a Malaviya Entrance Test-2024 for admission in all M.Sc programmes against the vacant seats. Merit list will be prepared based on the score card in the Entrance Examination and the preference will be given in sequence to CUET(PG)-2024 then Malaviya Entrance Test-2024.

    • Candidates seeking admission through the University Admission Test (MET-2024) should select the option “NOT APPLICABLE” for “National Level Admission Test” in Programme Selection Tab.

      Important Instructions for admission in PhD-First Year 2024-25, July Session

    • [1]   Admission is open to the Indian Nationals who have passed/appearing in the qualifying examination, fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

      [2]   The candidate should fill up the On-line application form any place through Internet by login on to https://mmmutadm.samarth.edu.in/2024/ from 05 June 2024 (08.00 AM) till 28 June 2024 (11.55 PM) as per the detailed procedure given on the website.

      [3]   Mode of Admission:

      A.    Full time Research Scholar with University Fellowship: A research scholar in this category works full-time for his/her Ph.D. He/she will be eligible to receive assistantship/scholarship from the University.

      B.     Admission to PhD Programme 2024-2025 under Visvesvaraya PhD scheme for Electronics and IT: Phase II:

      The major features of the scheme for the Visvesvaraya PhD scheme with Fellowship are Rs. 38,750/- per month in 1st and 2nd year and @Rs. 43,750 per month in 3rd ,4th and 5th years of Ph.D. (support till PhD completion or 5 years whichever is earlier).

      C.     AICTE Doctoral Fellowship (ADF) for PhD students: Admitted in the upcoming session 2024-25 (Odd Sem) MET-PhD-2024 Entrance Exam. Detailed information is provided through given Link:

      D.    Self-financed: Self-financed research scholars will support themselves. University will not provide scholarship to such candidates.

      E.     Sponsored: A research scholar in this category is sponsored by a recognized R&D organization, Academic Institution, Government Organization, or Industry for doing Ph.D. in the University on a full-time basis. The University shall not provide any assistantship/ scholarship
